Trevor Lawrence, QB-Cartersville
The Jacksonville Jaguars chose the Clemson Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who won the first pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Lawrence attended high school in Cartersville before committing to Clemson and winning the championship as a freshman. He was considered the best new employee in the country in his class in 2018.
Jaycee Horn, CB-Alpharetta
Jaycee Horn, who ranked 8th in the 2021 NFL Draft, was the first defender of choice. Carolina Panthers has added a former star from South Carolina. Horn is a newcomer to the 4-star Alpharetta and the son of Joe Horn, a former NFL wide receiver.
Justin Fields, QB-Harrison
The Chicago Bears were traded to pick Justin Fields, and future quarterbacks were ranked 11th in the 2021 NFL Draft. After playing at Harrison High School, Fields moved to Georgia and eventually to Ohio. Fields was second only to Trevor Lawrence in the 2018 Prospect Class.
Jaman Davis, LB-Long County
The Washington Football Team featured Kentucky Wildcats linebacker Jaman Davis NFL Draft place in the 19th . Davis was late for the NFL draft process. He came to Kentucky as a three-star recruit from Long County, Ludowici, Georgia.
Rashodo Bateman, WR-Tift County
Baltimore Ravens chose the Minnesota Golden Gophers wide receiver Ravens Bateman as the 27th pick in the draft. Bateman is a great road racer and will give Lamar Jackson a legitimate choice for years to come. Bateman attended Tift County High School in Tifton, Georgia, before enrolling in Minnesota.
Eric Stokes, CB-East Side
On the 29th pick of the draft, the Green Bay Packers added Eric Stokes, a Georgia Bulldogs cornerback. Stokes was a lightly adopted 3-star running back and cornerback from Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia. Stokes was known as a track star, but he challenged football.
Stokes’ decision went well and he is now trying to strengthen the Packers High School, which disappointed Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game.
